I have used a community edition Diffblue cover plugin integrated with intellij . I have to change my laptop as the one which I was using is not working and I am facing challenges
- It does not allow me to change the license key (says already activated)]
- in another machine it always takes the existing license and does not allow me to change (not sure where it keeps the license informtion)
Hello @iamakshu ,
Sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties, we can certainly help with that.
Currently community edition licences have certain controls around activations.
Our records show one activate license for your account, and that this has currently consumed the full monthly test usage.
Our recommendation would be to deactivate the current community licence and create a replacement for use on the new machine. Creating a replacement would normally be via the licence activation screen within the Diffblue Cover plugin. We can also assist with the updated licence if necessary.
From your description, if i am understanding correctly, you have attempted to select for a new community edition licence from within the Diffblue Cover activation screen and entered the verification details, but this has not permitted issue of a new licence.
If i have misunderstood please do correct me. If the above is correct, to assist me in further reviewing/replicating this behaviour, please could you share with me the steps taken as part of migrating the Diffblue Cover Plugin to the new machine and attempting the new activation of a community licence?
Kind Regards,
Shaun
