I face this problem when I am trying to generate some test via diffblue community plugin:

What does it mean E009? When does it occur?

Could you start by telling me:

  • What O/S you are using?
  • What Java version
  • What sort of project this is? (Spring Boot, JavaEE etc)
  • Does the project compile correctly with no errors before running Diffblue Cover?

We will do our best to get you up and running as quickly as possible

thanks for your fast reply.
Here is te info:
OS: Windows 10 Pro, 64bit
Java: jdk1.8.0_162
SpringBoot: v1.5.2.RELEASE (pretty old, I know)
Yes, project compiles correctly, no errors or test failures.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly - so it looks like the version of SpringBoot (as you suggest) is too old for us; we support version 2+ Diffblue Cover plugin for IntelliJ | Diffblue Docs

We would love for you to try out Diffblue Cover, are you able to upgrade the version of Spring Boot or could we be used on a more up-to-date Spring project?
